Working with institutions,
corporates, and programme partners.
The Quartz Foundation welcomes long-form partnership with institutions, corporate philanthropies, peer foundations, and operational partners who share its focus on children's wellbeing, health innovation, and the natural world. Each pathway below describes a distinct kind of engagement.
Foundation-to-foundation partnership.
The Foundation works with peer foundations and institutional philanthropies on co-funded programmes, joint commissioning, and shared due diligence in its focus areas.
Initial conversations begin without obligation, typically with a brief written summary of the partner foundation's focus and programme interests.
Corporate philanthropy and matched giving.
The Foundation works with corporate partners on structured giving programmes, employee matching, and dedicated programme funding within its focus areas.
The Foundation does not enter into commercial endorsements and does not co-brand programme outputs.
Co-design and co-funding of programme work.
For partners interested in shaping programme work alongside the Foundation — designing interventions, sharing in evaluation, and committing multi-year funding — the Foundation conducts a small number of co-funded programmes each year.
These conversations require a longer horizon and a willingness to share in both outcome and accountability.
Operational support, expertise, and in-kind contribution.
The Foundation accepts in-kind partnerships from organisations whose operational expertise, technical capacity, or pro-bono services materially advance programme work — particularly in health innovation and digital health.
Inquiries should describe the nature of the in-kind contribution and the programme area to which it would apply.
All inquiries are reviewed by the Foundation office. Initial response within five business days.
