# Quartz

> Quartz is a private, international holding group and a philanthropic foundation, headquartered in Copenhagen.

Quartz comprises two entities: Quartz Capital, a privately held group with operating positions across medical devices, pharmaceuticals, defense protection, digital health, energy and strategic commodities, real estate, and retail; and Quartz Foundation, a Danish philanthropic foundation supporting children's wellbeing, health innovation, and the natural world.
